Will VAT be applicable if it is purchase of materials like books and stationery from a book depot amounting to more then Rs. 50000?

vat doest depends on the amount dear... it depends on the state vat policy if item is inculded in state vat list ... vat wil b b charged whether its costing is 50 or 50000

vat rate are diff-2 according to the state vat act. there is no relevance of transaction amount.
