Respected sir ,
I am doing calculation of vat ,i want to ask that, on purchase there is excise duty paid but not vat (it is exempt from vat),then where this purchase will get deduction in form 231 .plzzzzzzzzzzzzz ans fast

You can cross check commodity status (taxable or exempted) as per VAT schedule available on relevant state VAT site.
