We had received bills and goods in Oct'14 but bill date for the same is 20-09-2014. We already filed VAT Return for Q2.
Can we account this bills in Oct'14.

Yes you can account for the bill in the month of October. While filing the return for quarter 3 mention the date of recording the invoice in the books.
