The dealer having turnover of sales of rs. 4102510/- including VAT (maharashtra) in the f.y. 2008-09. Does he applicable for VAT audit.
Net Sales Rs. 3646676/-
VAT @12.5% Rs. 455834/-

04 May 2010 Please see the definition of turnover. Normally in VAT era, sales taxes does not form part of the turnover.
