Dear Sir,
I did't understand the concept on VAT and Services Tax on Same Thing for instance in a hotel when we take food then we see on bill Vat as well as services tax.
Plz clear my concept.

Hi,
VAT on the food items and service tax on the service portion but there are abatement available to them so partially VAT and partially Service tax is applicable
