purchase were made from registered dealer. but i'm not having the registration number as newly started business and sales below 5 lacs
now the dealer is asking for registration number
what to do???

Dear,give him in writing that MVAT registration limit is not crossed, hence TIN not applicable. As and when limit is crossed, apply for registration and give it to him. From 1-4-2010 in MVAT budget proposal TIN of purchaser may be made mandatory, hence he may be asking for it.
