21 December 2009 We have sale note sorting machine and we get agreement from bank for AMC. As per agreement, we are raising invoices. we are providing services to bank as machine maintenance and we are chargeing service tax into invoice, please suggest me, also VAT is applicable on AMC amount or not.

21 December 2009 If you are not selling any goods to them or not liable to replace any part as per amc contract, you are not liable to vat. but please check your respective state law as vat is a state subject.
