18 May 2016 sir, how would the units purchased in mutual funds be shown in income tax. what is the tax treatment for it the units are still unsold and what will be the tax treatment when these units be sold

18 May 2016 income tax return does not have any such column for showing mutual funds units.
When the same are sold, depending upon the period of holding, the same shall be shown under capital gain (Long term or Short term as the case may be)
