Validity of proprietor as proprietor after becoming partner.

If a proprietor of a CA Firm enters into an LLP agreement with another proprietor of a CA Firm, can he sign the tax audit under his/her proprietor capacity subject to maximum limit? If no, kindly comment on whether he can atleast continue his proprietory firm and which function he can do even as a proprietor of firm and the partner of the firm?

he can perform all the functions under his proprietorship. there is no restriction on it.
