We have a partnership firm in Hyderabad and have obtained GST number.
We want to start a new division related to coconuts and Pooja items.
Do we have to obtain a new GST number for this?
We need urgent clarification please.

You can also amend you existing GST to include such business divisions. If existing business is vastly different then it will be better to take a separate GST Registration for the new division of business.

In my opinion, there is no need to take separate registration.By taking separate registration your compliance will increase as you will have to maintain separate records for two registrations and also
