31 October 2012 please let me know what documents are required for obtain UIN from RBI in case of FDI.

31 October 2012 You need to submitt a Copy of FIRC with Annexure II (Advance Reporting & KYC Form) through the Authorised dealer. After that RBI will issue the UIN No.
For the format of Annexure II follow the link (http://rbi.org.in/scripts/BS_ViewFemaForms.aspx)
