Under which section is the income exempt?

19 March 2015 My dad expired on duty in a government company. My mom has been receiving the Basic +Da of my dad from the company. In my Mom's hands, the income is exempt. Under which section is it exempt? Second question is, while preparing ITR for my mom, under which head does this income fall and which ITR to fill?

19 March 2015 you need to file itr of your dad only and it will be part of his salary..check the details procedure for filling itr by legal heirs:
