07 August 2014 My sister has income from interest received on lending money to some business houses (propritory business). The income is around 1.0 lakh. Additionally have car lease rent income of around 1.0 lakh.

In ITR-4, what shall be selected as nature of business in above case.

07 August 2014 lending business shall be her main business and lease income is income from other sources and file itr-4

07 August 2014 ITR-4 ask for nature of business with some numeris code, what shall i select, lending business?

08 August 2014 you can select two codes. if you dont find any code reflecting exact nature of your activities, you can choose residual codes.

codes reflecting closeness to your activities: 0806 money lending and 0809 - others for leasing activities
