Sir I hv one firm doing manufacturing hvng excise and vat regn. Other firm is of manpower supply hvng service tax regn. Can I register under one GST number ?

You have to register under one GST no as only one GST no. allotted for one PAN Card.

For Proprietary concern there will be no separate identify so proprietor PAN Is Base for registration so you have one registration multiple businesses under GST , if place of business is different than you have to add each additional place for Registration.
