we are floating tender for
(1) supply of 2 no. of truck for 1 year for transportation of materials with in the campus of our factory.
2) supply of 2 no. of utility vehicle (ie- Mahindra Camper) for 1 year for transportation of materials with in the campus of our factory.
Pl. suggest the applicability of service tax in both the case
(1) supply of 2 no. of truck for 1 year for transportation of materials with in the campus of our factory.

Service tax is applicable in both the cases.

service tax you have to pay on freight under transportation of goods by road services.

For this service tax is applicable on hiring of vehicles, not under transportation of goods by road services.
