i was informed that service tax on good transport has been wihtdrawn. Please confirm. In case of any ammendments regarding this issue, please let me know the details.

Not to my knowledge. Specified recivers to pay ST on 25% of the amounts paid ofr services of GTA. However there has been a case where services of GTO has been said to be outside the pruview of tax since only booking agentys are liable.
