1.What is the impact on transporter who is not file Service Tax Half Yearly Return having Registration certificate.

As per rule 7C of service tax rules 1994,the following late fees shall be charaged.
a Delay of fifteen days from the due date : 500/-
b.Delay beyond fifteen days but not exceeding thirty days : 1000/-
c.Delay beyond thirty days : 1000/- + 100/-every day from the thirty day till the return is furnished.
Provided that the above late fees must not be more than 2000/-.
