A SHAREHOLDER OF A PRIVATE COMPANY WANTS TO TRANSFER ITS SHARE TO ANOTHER SHAREHOLDER THEN WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW.

20 June 2009 Step 1 : Value the shares.

Step 2 : If the tranfer value is more (say) Rs.10 Lakhs and abve get a CA certificate for valuation.

Step 3 : On receipt of money the seller should sign on the tranfer deed and stmp duty has to be paid to Regional Roc where your company is registered.

Step 4 : Send the shares to company for tranfer.

Step 5 : After the shares are tranferred at the Board meeting you have to get back your original certificates wherein your name will apper there as a holder of share.
