i m undergoing my 1st year of articleship. so besides filling form no. 109, do i also need to get a consent letter from my present principal. do i need to again fill form 102 with the other principal where i intend to join for articleship? also do i need to write a letter to the ICAI stating the change in articleship and the reasons for such a change? or is form 109 sufficient for this purpose? also on the students ID issued to me for CA finals, there is stamp of my present Principal CA, so i need to ask the ICAI to issue me new ID containing the stamp of the other CA? kindly reply its urgent

For all your questions answer is Yes. And one more thing you need not to obtain consent letter from your principle because form 109 indicates his consent. But however first you write a request letter to ICAI to get termination and has to get permission to termination before submission of form 109.
