I have heard that we can sell shares first and than purchase the same back. My question is that how could i sell when i dont have any share?

it is not possible for selling first u need to purchase shares..........

it is called intra-day trading...you buy intra-day and then sell within the day before close of trade.
Alternatively, you can sell intra-day and then cover the position by purchasing...
in both cases, actual delivery is not taken, and only the net difference is debited or credited to your broking a/c.
