Investment made for replacement of asset- is trade/ non trade

To qualify a investment as trade investment it should aid in running the trade.
Ex: Money deposited with bank for providing bank guarantee to a foreign supplier.
In the present case you invested money somewhere to earn income, with out which your business can run. Hence it is a non trade investment only
