29 August 2015 My query is that,toll tax is paid to the government to compensate for the expenses of building that road,which in my opinion get recovered within 2 or 3 years, but then also they continue to collect the tax,is this correct?

29 August 2015 The agreement/pact is signed before the project which states the amount, toll per vehicle.
Once the amount is recovered the toll can NOT be collected.
But 2-3 years is very OPTIMISTIC estimate. The normal period to recover the capital outlay is 10+ years.

29 August 2015 But what i know, according they do collect tax afterwards also,even if the cost is recovered,for this purpose should we go to RTI ?

29 August 2015 Normally, they are duty bound to display the board stating all these details, at the toll centre. If it is NOT displayed, you may ask the same under RTI.

Please note that RTI is to be used POLITELY but with robust confidence. ANGER has no place in RTI. Do it with calm and quiet mind. All the best.

10 September 2015 There is a growing tendency in the YOUNG population. Mere posing of QUESTION makes them angry. So be patient and polite.

Let me add, in fact, the BOT or BOOT or as the case may be is duty bound to DISPLAY prominently the information at the TOLL PLAZA. Unfortunately, they are NOT displaying and we are not agitating...
