VAT Audit procedure more or less same for all the state it should confirm the following
1. Sales value calculated correct
2. Output vat calculated correct
3. Purchase value calculated correct
4. Claimed input value correct
5. Any exemption taken is in th applicable norm
6. tax paid correct
7. Sales and purchase matching with Return filed with department
