15 February 2010 what is the time limit for issue of TDS certificate?

If mr.A a contractor deducted TDS in 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarter and made payment and filed TDS return in 3rd quarter.What is the time limit for issuance of certificate in this case ?

15 February 2010 TDS Certifcate has to be issued with in one month from the end of month which the deduction made. incase deductee request consolidated certificate, that can be issued yearly once

16 February 2010 if you are issuing consolidated certificate once in year then till 30th april it should be issued and take a written request from contractor for request to issue one certificate for full year.
