29 May 2010 ff there is any Time Limit upto which ST-1 generated from aces.gov.in can be filed with Service Tax Deptt.
Please Tell me the Time Limit upto which the registration ST-1 registered online (aces.gov.in) can be submitted to service Tax Department.
After which period I will b required to register fresh, because of non filing the ST-1 within Time Period after generation from aces.gov.in

29 May 2010 Generally 7 days. If you have to file afresh you have to wait for 30days.

29 May 2010 Dear Sir,

As per Service Tax Law, it is mandatory to take the Service Tax Registration within 30 (Thirty) days from the inception of your business. If you submit the ST-1 form with your range superintendent - Central Excise & Service Tax within this time limit and cannot get your ST-2 within 7 (Seven) days, it is deemed to be that you are registered service provider. In case ACES.GOV.IN, if you filed electronically registration, then you can take a printout and submit the hard copy with your range office within 7 (Seven) days. This is very simple and hassle-free procedure.
