Is it possible to terminate the Auditor. If so, what are the consequences on Termination.

You need to take the permission of central govt. if you want to terminate the Auditors before completing his term of appointment.

Agree.
As per Section 224(7) you may remove the existing Auditor before expiry of his term with the previous approval of Central Govt and with the approval of shareholders in the GM.
