Termination of articleship

Sir I have completed only 5 months of my articleship and i am in 1st year of articleship. and now i asked for transfer from my firm. But now my firm did not agreed to give me transfer and said that you have no choice except termination of current articleship and again start it from the very beginning for a period of 3 years. My question is whether is it possible to restart my articleship? If yes then what is the procedure? I know that my final ca attempt will be delayed but still I want to take termination.Please help me out.

no...ur firm is wrongly asking u to do so...ur 3 months will be counted if icai ahave recorded it in form 103 if u had submitted.
fill form 109 and take transfer and find new firm and file form 103 with icai and 102 with new ca

You have to get ur boss sign in form 109 and send to icai with in 30 days of transfer
.
However u cant take transfer if ur boss not agreed to give transfer
.
U already promised in form 102 sayong u will be working under him for 3 years so request boss to allow for transfer of articles is the only option left to u

But when I asked to Mumbai branch through telephone, they said that it is possible provided I give a written letter & my boss signs. So is it possible?

by letter there cannot be a valid transfer u need to file form 109 duly signed by ur principal.
