Terminal surrender of earned leave

my client has already availed the sec. 10(10AA) exemption on retirement. Now he receives arrears of terminal surrender leave salary on account of revision of pay and since the employer is generous he pays the arrears even after retirement. Can my client claim sec.10(10AA) exemption for the arerear received it with in limits?
