Telephone bill credit

07 November 2014 sir,
my client has paid service tax on telephone bill. so now instead of claiming it as a credit he is asking me to show it on the debit side of the profit and loss acoount as the expense.(i.e telephone bill including service tax). can we do this??

07 November 2014 If the service tax amount on telephone bills is too small so you may avoid it.One condition is that only that portion of service tax is eligible which is used for the purpose of business.... so you have to proportionate the telephone bill amount for business purpose and service tax only on that portion is eligible.
