Dear all,
Our company is receiving bills from a printing press. We have not supplied any material to him. We gave orders to print invoice, delivery challan, visiting cards with our company name. Should we deduct TDS u/s 194C?

yes you need to deduct tds if single bill exceed Rs.30000 or aggregate pyament during the year expected to increase 75000

Taxation is a very dynamic subject. Therefore, kindly get into a habit of reading tax act, rules and other circulars on a regular basis. Only then you would be able to give proper advise to your clients.
What was valid yesterday can become invalid even if a small comma or full stop is added or deleted in tax act.

If he charges only VAT on the bill. Is TDS deductible?
