06 February 2016 Dear Experts, my company has hired delivery vehicle on month basis to carry company's goods. query...1) weather company is liable to pay ST under RCM or not if yes how much..2) to deduct TDS which section will be applicable 194C or 194I Thanx & Regard Pawan Gupta

06 February 2016 RCM not applicable on hire of vehicle for transport of passengers.

Deduct TDS under section 194C if driver salary and petrol expences are met by service provider.
Deduct TDS under section 194I if driver salary and petrol expences are met by service receiver.

06 February 2016 sir the vehicle is hired to carry the goods not passenger plz clarify weather RCM is to be applicable or not however the service receiver is body corporate...

07 February 2016 Sorry i mean to say same some words missed and looks confusing,,,RCM applicable only on renting of vehicle for passgers and no rcm aplicable in your case
