One of my client had Tds returns Receipt number 8 digit in alphabet but, missing of Provisional receipt number

So can we get PRN number based on 8 digit alphabet number??

21 July 2013 PRN - Provision Receipt number available in the TDS return filed acknowledgment copy itself, it is 15 digit number please check the same

Acually he had lost his acknowledment copy but when he filed return he had noted that 8 digit alphabet number instead of 15 digit PRN


Thats why I am asking can we got PRN based on Receipt number

21 July 2013 You can approach the NSDL center where you filed the return and give your TAN and return filed date, they will provide the duplicate acknowledgement copy
