If you have lost the **Token Number** for your filed TDS return (like Form 26Q for Q3), here’s what you can do:
### How to retrieve the Token Number for a filed TDS Return?
1. **Login to TRACES Portal:**
* Go to the official TRACES website: [https://www.tdscpc.gov.in](https://www.tdscpc.gov.in) * Login using your **TAN** and password.
2. **View Filed Statements:**
* After login, go to **‘Statement Status / Download’** or **‘View Filed Statements’** section. * Select the **Financial Year** and **Quarter** for which you want to retrieve the Token Number.
3. **Download the Statement Summary:**
* You will see a list of all statements filed for that period along with their **Token Numbers**. * You can download the statement file (Consolidated File or Acknowledgment) which will contain the Token Number.
4. **If you do not have TRACES access:**
* Request the person/entity who filed the TDS return to login on TRACES and get the token number. * Alternatively, contact NSDL-TIN helpdesk for assistance.

### Important Tips:
* Token Number is generated only after the TDS return is successfully filed and accepted. * Keep the acknowledgment or consolidated file downloaded at the time of filing safe for future reference. * TRACES login is usually available for Deductors or their authorized representatives.
