28 October 2014 Kind Attn : Dear Sir/Mam

Pls help me, regarding TDS return.
My Company (Pvt Ltd), has not filed return as on 15th Oct, 14,(Is this the last day for companies?)for contractor.

(The amount of tds deposited JULY-1100 and Sept-900. The monthly tax has been deposited on time)

Pls adv, on the late payment fine.
Also, I have come to know that it can't exceed the total amt of tax deductible.

Pls explain. the total fine my company needs to pay till dt (i.e. Oct28,2014)

28 October 2014 The late payment fees is restricted to TDS amount. Presently High courts issued stay orders on late fee payment hence file the TDS return without payment of late fee.
