TDS return in case of death of proprietor

27 May 2022 How to file tds return of remaining period if the proprietor dies during the financial year and there is no further deduction of tds.

Eg: Death of proprietor in 3rd Quarter and return to be filed is 4th quarter.

27 May 2022 The obligation to file quarterly TDS Return arises only if tax has been deducted at the source. Legally there is no need to file Quarterly Quarterly TDS Return/ Return/ Statement Statement where no tax has been deducted at source.
