08 May 2015 My firm name has been changed is sales tax department but till now not had been updated in TAN and PAN card Plz inform can i file TDS return in my old name now as it has not been updated.

10 May 2015 Please clarify whether the firm is a partnership firm or a proprietary concern.
.
If your query is in connection with your proprietary concern you can file TDS return as TAN and PAN of the proprietor will not change.

12 May 2015 and TAN and PAN of partenrship firm not change so can i file the return

12 May 2015 If the firm name has been changed a different entity has come into existence.

The new firm is required to apply for fresh PAN and TAN.

12 May 2015 In case the PAN and TAN are the same, you can file TDS return as Income Tax department reconises an assessee by these two only.
