In TDS quarterly return F26Q, if we need to quote a nil challan, in challan details we need to leave the column "Whether by book entry" blank. But for returns upto F.Y.2012-13, in deductee details, there is a column for "By book entry or otherwise". If we need to quote deductee records under nil challan for a quarter in F.Y. 2012-13, what value should be entered in "Whether by book entry or otherwise"? Whether we should enter anything or leave it blank? Please send a sample file for a nil challan and the corresponding deductee details if possible.
