TDS ReFUND OF 08-09

Dear sir ,
PLs answer my 2 Queries
1) I was working as a commission Agent i had filed my it return of 08-09 on Aug 09, in which i had paid some amt as a tax , now by when can i expect my TDS refund ,do i have to go some where for TDS refund or it will be credited to my bank A/C directly , generally after how many month a person get TDS refund.
2) now in 09-10 for first 8 month i had again work as acommission agent and for the rest of the year i had jained some PVT company so in the current year i had both Income ie.Form 16A as well as Form 16. i had filed my IT return on 02/08/2010 so when can i expect my TDS refund of the current year.

First of all let me clarify you that TDS is not the right term to use in your case. Its the income tax refund.
TDS being deducted from your income.. that is fine.
When you file your Income Tax Return & it shows excess of TDS being deducted in comparison to total tax payable by you, then only you can get the refund from the IT deptt.
So merely filing the ITR does not entitle you to get the Income tax refund. The above condition needs to be fulfilled for that.
AND, in normal circumstances, the refund comes within 1 year if filing the return.
