17 October 2013 Dear Friends,
I have paid TDS in U/s 194C instead of U/s 194I by mistake. Can i claim refund of that, if yes then please guide the process.

I want to claim refund of payment made by me through Challan U/s 194C which has not been claimed in TDS return

17 October 2013 You should revise the challan and also the tds return.

17 October 2013 I have not considered the challan paid U/s 194C while preparing return as it was mistaken while payment made.

17 October 2013 Under share files under income tax category u can search for the file challan correct mechansim and all details are in it.
