Sir,
A broker selling flat in favour of builder earned brokerage occasionaly.He has no other source of income & also does not file any IT return till so far as his income under the examption limit,that is ,now for Fy12-13 is Rs2 lacs.
But in FY10-11, from his brokerage TDS was deducted in the tune of Rs3000.In Fy11-12,TDS deduction amount from his brokerage is RS2000.He Has the TDS certificate for both the amount of Rs3000 & RS2000.
Now,In this year, if NIl return is filled,Would he be entitled to get back Rs5000 as refund Which was deducted as TDS, from the IT dept.

Please tell the date of ITR filed for F.Y. 2010-11 and 2011-12.

You may claim refund by filing ITR for both the financial years separately.
