hi experts,
pls provide tds rates for payment to contractors (individula/huf)for 1-4-2009 to 30-9-2009 & from 1-10-2009. also give the details about surcharge & cess whether these are applicabl or not ?

upto 30th sept 09 the Rate is 2.266 however if it is Sub Conatract then Rate is 1.133
Rate from 1st Oct 09
for Individual & HUF 1.03 in all cases (Whether Contract or Sub-Contarct)

I think there is no Edu.Cess,SHE cess or Surcharge after 1.10.2009.
