Tds on trucks repairing

29 April 2016 Dear sir, we have 22 trucks which is repaired by different persons including supply of parts, but bills of these repair & maintenance includes VAT and no bifurcation of repair and parts provided by them, whether we would liable to deduct TDS u/s 194C or we fall within a definition of works contract ??? we appreciate your reply thanks and regards in advance

29 April 2016 Yes if bifurcation not provided then you can do deduct tds u/s 194C on bill value but consider threshold limit also if you give repair and maintenance work to more than one person.

05 May 2016 Sir, if mechnic produced a bill with bifurcation of labour and goods?? and we also provide them parts of trucks which is purchased from third party

Further we also provide them parts of Trucks which is Purhcased from third Party and also charged VAT on that goods..

05 May 2016 For your supplies no TDS. In case of separate bill for supplies no TDS applicable on supplies.
