Tds on transporter

This query is : Resolved

16 April 2019 I had deducted Tds of one of my transporter but later on he gave a declaration that he is not having more than 10 trucks at any time during the year. Then am i liable to deduct Tds for the further amount also if i deducted Tds for once?
For eg: Bill amount was Rs 10000 before he provided me declaration. and i deducted 1% Tds on Rs 10000 i.e Rs 100. Then after providing me declaration, I got a bill of Rs 90000 then am i supposed to deduct Tds on Rs 90000 also?

19 April 2019 No, If you have a valid declaration. You don't need to deduct the TDS.
