Education cess need to deduct on TDS on salary

Yes, It need to be deducted. Education cess has been removed from TDS in all other cases except TDS on salary. But in case of Salary, it is still applicable.

Education cess continue to be deducted on Salary.

Ed. Cess is continued in case of salary payment and payment to Non Resident for the purpose of TDS.
