Can an salary person avail exemption u/s 87A rs-5000/- for fy 2016-2017 at the time of tds calculation on salary by his employer.?
If he can avail, then how . PLEASE SIR REPLY IMMEDIATELY .

Yes an assessee can claim it, if his/her salary is below 5L. It is deducted from net tax liability.

Yes, if Taxable income is less than 500000/- than can consider Rs.5000/-u/s 87A.
