Tds on salary

When we calculate the TDS on Salary, if anybody is paying rent more than 1 lakh in a year than he will submit the Landlord's Pan Card..
I want to know Pan Card is enough or any other documents is also required from employee if employee is paying rent is more than 1 Lakh.
