TDS On royalty inclusive of service tax or not

Please clarify whether TDS would be charged on royalty or (royalty + service tax) paid by indian subsidiary to its foreign holding company

TDS has to be affected in ALL applicable cases on Service Tax portion also with ONLY ONE exception of Rent

Yes, Mr. Rao is right. Service tax is exempt from TDS only in section 194I, i.e Rent.
