One of our clients has not deducted TDS on freight in the assessment year 2008-09, which was disallowed in the assessment now.Can he claim the same freight in this A y by deducting the TDS, if yes,what should be the TDS percent taken

Deposit TDS @ rates applicable for AY 2008-09 and deposit along with interest. The said expenditure will be allowed in the current year i.e. year of payment of TDS.

Yes, the expenses can be claimed once the applicable TDS with interest for late payment , paid.
