Total =61116

Less Discount@19%=11612

Net Amount= 49504

Which amount to be considered
for TDS?

03 June 2015 TDS to be deducted on amount excluding discount and Service Tax i.e., on Rs 48388/-.

03 June 2015 for the purpose of discount we will consider only Advertisment Exp. only. here discount given on service tax. amount that is wrong .

03 June 2015 Mr. Agarwal Sir,

The Net amount of Bill will be same whether discount given before S.T or after that. We will not be affected. If More S.T Charged, same amount will be given as discount and if Discount given before S.T then S.T will be charged on the reduced amount. Department may have problem in that case. I think S.T before Discount will be more safe than Discount before S.T.

Here My issue is only the amount to be considered for TDS calculation.
