Whether TDS is to be deducted on payment made directly to Lok Prakashan ltd.(Gujarat Samachar) for advertisement in newspaper?

Yes. Provisions of 194C attracted. TDS to be deducted if threshold limit is crossed.

Single Bill/Payment Rs 30000/-
Annual Total Rs 75000/- p.a.
TDS rate:
Individual/HUF @1%
Others @2%
No PAN @20%
